Chief Operating Officer
John Merola Sr. serves as Chief Operating Officer at RejuvStem, bringing an operator’s discipline and a patient-first perspective to the organization. After experiencing regenerative medicine as part of his own wellness journey, he transitioned from patient to partner—drawn by the opportunity to scale access to cellular therapies and elevate the end-to-end patient experience.
John holds a BS in Business Management from St. John’s University and has spent more than two decades in commercial and residential real estate, building expertise in leading teams, managing complex operations, and overseeing high-profile businesses. At RejuvStem, that background translates into a focus on execution: consistent standards, clear processes, and a premium care journey that reflects the clinic’s mission and clinical offerings.
A dedicated bodybuilder, John understands performance culture and the physical demands that come with it. Years of intense training led to injuries that affected his quality of life and prompted him to explore both traditional and alternative approaches to recovery—ultimately shaping his conviction in the potential of cellular therapy and motivating his commitment to helping others “not just heal,” but return to higher function.
John’s commitment is also deeply personal. Following his father’s sudden passing from a heart attack, he became even more focused on advancing solutions that may extend both lifespan and healthspan—because longevity matters most when it preserves quality of life. In parallel, John has leveraged his knowledge of high-performance athletics to thoughtfully introduce regenerative therapy options to professional athletes seeking to achieve and maintain peak performance. Those same insights inform RejuvStem’s broader patient community as well—from active seniors who want to stay strong and independent to high school athletes working to recover effectively and continue competing.
