Chirag is a health entrepreneur and trained patent attorney with a deep background in healthcare and biotechnology. With more than 15 years of technical and business experience spanning innovation, strategy, and commercialization, he has focused his career on building science-driven solutions that meaningfully improve patient outcomes.
Chirag was trained in allopathic medicine and is a former medical student of the The University of Chicago Medical School. He also attended the Boston University School of Public Health, and holds advanced degrees in cellular biology and biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Like many traditionally trained clinicians, he was taught that regenerative medicine was not a viable therapeutic option. That perspective changed after witnessing its potential benefits firsthand—an experience that became deeply personal and ultimately shaped his life’s work.
Founding RejuvStem
In 2021, Chirag founded RejuvStem after a close friend faced a COVID-related prognosis of 90 days or less to live. That friend received mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy and experienced a remarkable recovery. Seeing the impact of cellular therapy up close challenged Chirag’s assumptions and inspired him to create a company focused on making high-quality regenerative care more accessible, consistent, and trustworthy.
Chirag’s journey also began as a patient in search of center to treat his friend. He understands the questions, doubts, fears, and hesitations people experience when considering care outside their home country—whether in México or anywhere abroad—especially concerns about safety, consistency, and the unknown quality of medical care. RejuvStem was built from that patient perspective: to remove uncertainty, raise standards, and create a care experience grounded in trust.
