Biography
Dr. Gorberg was awarded the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship. He served the Air Force on active duty from July 2010 to July 2014. As a general anesthesiologist, he deployed to Afghanistan and served at ROLE 3 hospitals in Bagram and Kandahar, Afghanistan. As a specialist in trauma medicine, he took care U.S., NATO, and local nationals. For his exceptional service during Operation Enduring Freedom he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Gorberg’s professional medical background includes being proficient in neuraxial, intra-articular and peripheral nerve blocks and injections. He is facile with ultrasound and stimuplex (electrical impulse) techniques. His focus has evolved from management of trauma patients to aiding patients with neurodegenerative diseases. “I believe that we live in a great time in history, where we can alter and scale back the progression of neurodegenerative illness.
